Comment when sending request for business trip - larger than 250

Is there some way of extending the comment in the absence request from 250 letters to e.g. 2.000?

Or make an attachment mandatory ...e.g. the travel plan?

Thanks

Christoph

Hi @chaase,

Currently, there is no option to extend the 250 character limitation but this sounds like great feedback to share!

I'd really encourage you to submit this through the 'Give Feedback' feature directly in your Personio account. It goes straight to the relevant product teams, so your input will be heard. 🙌

If there is an update in this area, you will be informed under Support > in the What’s New Page or via an in-app notification.

As for the attachment question: a nice workaround could be to make certificates required in the time off policy, similar to the sick leave settings. The attachment itself wouldn't be strictly mandatory, but both the employee and the approver would get a task/notification if a certificate is missing for the requested period. Might be a helpful interim solution!

And one more thing worth mentioning: We're currently working on a feature that will make comments in time off periods mandatory. No exact release date just yet to communicate, but it's coming! 🎉

Best,

Katharina

Katharina, thanks for the quick answer.
Question: a few weeks ago … we have several postings in our system for business trip that had more than 250 signs and it worked. Now it no longer works.

Is this a new restriction?
