Hey Voyagers!

HUG wrapped a few weeks ago, and our product team is keen to hear what you make of everything we announced.

Built for every type of work HR does đź’Ľ

Some HR work moves strategy forward. Some keeps the business running quietly in the background. And some connects the two. Our H2 updates were designed with all three in mind, so whichever part of the job fills your week, there should be something here for you.

📋 Want the full picture? Every update is on our What’s New page.

(German Version of this Article is here:)

🎬 Start here: HUG in 5 minutes

Alex Grant, our CPO, walks through what we built, why we built it and what comes next:

The headline updates

Talent Screening Agent

Set your criteria and the Talent Screening Agent checks incoming applications against them. Your team reviews the shortlist, and a person always makes the final call.

MCP: your people data, wherever you work with AI

Bring Personio data into the AI tools your team already works in.

Insights and Analytics

With the Analytics Agent describe what you want to explore and get a finished report in minutes, no manual setup required.

Performance & Development

  • Goals: connect individual and team goals to company goals so everyone sees how their work adds up.
  • Calibrations: see where ratings differ between teams and agree on changes together before scores are final.
    Watch the demo.

Also new:

  • Lifecycle Events: Promotions, lateral moves and pay changes now run through one guided flow. Approvers are notified automatically, the contract amendment is drafted from your template, and follow up tasks reach the next person. You set it up once to match your policy.
  • Automated Hiring Pipeline: when a candidate moves to a new stage, emails and interview scheduling happen without a recruiter lifting a finger. You’ll see it in the recruiting demo above.
  • Local Admins: give local HR teams admin access scoped to the part of the organization they manage, and nothing beyond it.
  • Qualified electronic signatures: built with Docusign, so contracts with the strictest legal requirements stay digital from draft to archive.

🤔 Your turn: what would you switch on first?

Tell us in the comments which update you’d turn on first, and the one question standing between you and doing it.
The product managers who built these features will reply to your questions in this thread.

Not sure where to start? Describe the process that eats up most of your week, and we’ll point you to the update that can help.

A lot of what we build starts in conversations like this one, so keep them coming!

Hi everyone,

I am looking forward to two things the most, as I believe they will be supporting our daily business the best:

  1. Lifecycle Events - we do have quite a lot of HR admins in our company that use Personio only every few months, for example in smaller local teams with near to no changes. Having standardized procedures with approval steps for Job changes would be great, as it reduces mistakes or fields that would have been forgot otherwise. If it works well, I would recommend even combining it with other processes like the termination process or putting someone on parental leave - that creates a standard “hub” of processes, easy to understand and execute for everyone in HR with a lesser margin for errors.
  2. Local Admins - while we do have our workarounds that work decently well, I am all for any update that will make localization easier! Question: Would this also include the option to use the proxy-function locally? I would highly appreciate that, as it could be super helpful for our HR colleagues.

After that I am also quite eager to see the Automated Hiring Pipeline updates, as I believe they might also solve some of our localization-problems we have right now. It will also hopefully decrease the time we spend on working with applications.
