Welcome to the Personio Community, we are thrilled to see you here 🎊 🥳. I am happy to support you with your inquiry.
At the moment, the ability for the system to prorate the vacation entitlement based on the termination date is unavailable. This was switched off temporarily while we focused on improving our absence engine. However, now that we are nearing the completion of this migration from the old engine to the new, we hope to once again implement the automatic proration. At the moment, I could not give you an exact date on when this will return. However, you can keep up to date with all the latest updates to Personio by signing up to our newsletter here. For now a manual adjustment is needed to correct the vacation entitlement for any terminated employee.
