Hi Personio Support,

I have a question/ requests regarding upcoming Personio functionalities:

Custom Reports migration
Following today’s call about the migration of Custom Reports: could you please retain the possibility to group/collect absence types, as shown in the attached screenshot?

Thank you!

Best regards,
Liesbeth

Hi Personio Support,

I have a question/ requests regarding upcoming Personio functionalities:

  1. Custom Reports migration
Following today’s call about the migration of Custom Reports: could you please retain the possibility to group/collect absence types, as shown in the attached screenshot?

  2. AI payslip upload
During the Personio Product Roadmap Update Webinar on 26/02/2026, the possibility of using AI to read/import payslips was mentioned. When is this functionality expected to become available?

  3. Training visibility per country/workplace
When will it be possible to control the visibility of trainings by country/entity/workplace? Currently, employees in other entities/workplaces can see trainings they cannot physically attend. We would like to make specific trainings visible only to the relevant population.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Liesbeth

Hi @Lievaz

Thank you so much for adding the screenshot! It really helps and gives me more context.

I can see now that your question is about reporting on individual time off periods.

I understand you've put a lot of effort into retrieving this data through our API. The same data is available in the new report builder. I'll check with our Product Team to see whether anything will change here, and I'll keep you posted.

Best,

Katharina

Hi @Lievaz, since these different topics are handled by different colleagues I will split your question up in different threads, hoping it’s okay for you :)
Also will make it easier for users to find the question and the answer based on the individual title.
I will do this for you, no additional action needed!

Best,
Daniele

Hi @Lievaz
Just some housekeeping: I changed the title of this Post from “Migration custom reports + other”
to “Custom Reports: keep the option to group absence types after the migration”

Also I published the other 2 questions in separate threads for you: our support team will reply soon.

About this question, question one, you said

possibility to group/collect absence types, as shown in the attached screenshot

Did you mean to attach a screenshot? If so, are you able to add it in a comment below?

Best,
Daniele

Hello @Lievaz,

Unfortunately, I couldn't see a screenshot in your post. It may not have uploaded correctly.

I assume you mean that in Custom reports, when you reported on Time off balances, a separate column was shown for each Time off type you selected in the report settings.

In the new report builder, you can segment by, for example, employee and Time off type.

This gives you a separate row for each employee and Time off type. It's the closest match to the previous view in Custom reports: the information is the same, just organized a little differently.

You can find more details in our Help Center article Create a report.

I know the layout isn't exactly the same as before. If you'd like to see this changed, please share your feedback through the new Give feedback feature in your Personio account. Your submission goes straight to the relevant product team. You can learn more in this community post. We'll share any updates in this area on the What's New page under Support or through an in-app notification.

If I've misunderstood your question, please let me know. It would also help if you could share the screenshot of the report again.

Have a great day!

Katharina

Hi Katharina,

Thank you very much for your quick and detailed response, and for looking into this.

Apologies, it seems the screenshot didn’t come through with my initial post. I’ve attached it again here, so hopefully it is visible now.

The reason this functionality is particularly important for us is that we have built several API integrations based on the exact export generated through the current collection of absence types. These integrations rely on the current structure, where the different absence types are provided in separate columns.

It would therefore be essential for us if this structure could be retained in the new Report Builder. Over the past year, we have invested a significant amount of time and effort in building and fine-tuning these integrations. After several setbacks along the way, everything is now finally running smoothly and reliably.

If this is indeed a change that is currently planned as part of the migration, I will of course also submit this via the Give feedback feature, as you suggested.

Thank you again for your response and support. Have a great day!

Best regards,
Liesbeth
