Getting individual holiday calendars by the REST-API

We need to retrieve individual holiday calendars through our API integration, but we cannot. The only way we have found to retrieve holiday information is by using the "Get Employee by ID" endpoint. But this endpoint only provides the country and state of the public holiday calendar on which the individual holiday calendar of that person’s office is based.

at the moment it is not possible to retrieve the individual company holiday calendars via API. It would be great if you could submit this feedback directly in Personio! 🙂

Happy new year and a lot of Personio usage for 2025 ;) 

Have you tried the absence endpoint ? 

https://api.personio.de/v1/company/time-offs 
You can use a filter to narrow it to an employee. 

Alternatively, you also have another endpoint in the v2 api : 

https://api.personio.de/v2/absence-periods

 

You can also filter it by employee ID.

    Oh sorry, I didn’t get it the first time that you were talking about the public holidays for each office. 
    I thought you were speaking about employees when you said “individual”. 

    Not sure if you can have this info through the API then … 
    I’ll let someone for Personio confirms this.
