Instead of preferred name, the legal name is shown

Hi fellow users, 

A while ago we got introduced in the Preferred Name option as an attribute of the personal data. 

Although when I am in the profile of each employee, the Preferred name is shown, when I am searching for the in the search bar I see the Legal Name, and in a parenthesis the Preferred name. 

Did anyone manage to change this, and search only by Preferred name?

Hi @MPapas,

That is a good point! This is currently the product functionality, even though the Preferred name is displayed in the Employee profile, when you use the search function, you will see both the Legal name and the Preferred name as shown below:

I would encourage you to raise this as feedback through the new Give feedback feature directly in your Personio account. Submissions will be forwarded directly to the relevant Product Teams. You can find more information in this community post.

If there is an update in this area, you will be informed through our Personio Product Updates or via an in-app notification.
