Verification of employees data and signature

Hi everybody!

My team would like to validate employees data ( e.g when new joiners give us their Name, Social security number etc.) and make them sign it so we are sure they are truthful with their information.

Is there any way the can insert their data in personio and sign it ( or in their profile and we store it as PDF and insert a signature filed?)  how do you validate the data of your employees in your organisations?

Hi @Klaudia,

I haven’t heard of other users validating the data of their employees, but I can think about a couple of solutions:

  • Adding a paragraph on your contract saying that the employee confirms by signing it, that the data saved in Personio is truthful. Please be aware: I am not sure if this has any legal validity, or if there is any legal aspect that has to be considered here. Please confirm this with your legal entity.
  • Export the data of the employee profile: This is the process you described about storing the information as a PDF in their profile and requesting an e-signature.
