Public holidays and freelancers

This problem is caused by incorrect validity settings within the absence settings. At the moment from what I gather, you have not selected the ‘Work schedule including public holidays’ option for these employees meaning that leave taken on public holidays do not count as absence days. To fix this you will either need to change the current validity settings for this absence type or create a new absence type for these freelancers.
